2008 Chevrolet Malibu - Not your dream car but not a nightmare
I love the fact that it's decent on gas and doesn't struggle to go up hills, even though it's a four cylinder. Even without a bigger engine, it feels like it has a bigger engine.
Story
When I first got the car, I decided to take it on the highway to see what kind of speed and power the Malibu had. Well, it struggled lol, but I didn't expect too much. I still had fun getting it a little over 100mph on the highway that day.
Pros
It has great gas mileage for an older car. I also like how sturdy the car feels in comparison to other cars made around the same time.
Cons
Does not handle well in the snow. I've also had to replace the alternator twice in two months now.
2009 Chevrolet Malibu - Good cruiser sedan
I really like my '09 Chevy Malibu. It has a real peppy engine, gets good highway mileage, and is very comfortable even for big people like myself to drive in. The sound system is very good, and the A/C blows very cold, which I love!. My model has a sunroof, which is a nice luxury feature. And, as I like to joke with my friends, there's so much usable trunk space, you could fit a dead body in it! But please don't!
Story
I've driven up and down the Eastern Seaboard with it, and it rides beautifully.
Pros
Good highway mileage, very good A/C, great sound system and trunk room.
Cons
The only two negative things I have about it are that there's no Bluetooth connectivity and that the city mileage is really low.
