2008 Chevrolet Malibu - Bang for your buck
My 2008 Chevrolet Malibu has thus far proved to be a very reliable car. The 3.5 L V6 engine provides a good amount of power when I need it as well as keeping the MPG reasonable. For a sedan the car has a quite roomy interior for seating, and does not sacrifice storage space elsewhere. The vehicle is excellent for road trips, I have personally taken it on a 8 hour trek multiple times. Other features include built-in satellite radio capacity, power driver's seat and automatic lights and windows.
Pros
The number one thing that I enjoy about this particular vehicle is the engine. The 3.5L engine is deceptive powerful for a car this size and look. Another feature I love is the trunk storage. While the trunk on the vehicle appears short on the outside, once you pop it up, the trunk capacity doubles before your eyes. Another good feature on the car is the automatic traction control, this feature really helps during the Indiana winters.
Cons
One of the negative things about this vehicle model is the interior has taken more of a beating than I expected. Mostly comprised of cheaper vinyl, the steering wheel and interior door panels in particular have not held up to my expectations. Another con to this vehicle is the MPG in the city, I recently went from mostly highway driving to a much shorter commute from work, and while I certainly expected a drop off in MPG, I wasn't expecting the dramatic difference I currently perceive.
