2005 Chevrolet Malibu - Reliable
One of my other cars is a Chevy Impala (I have a spare, just something I got really, really cheap.). I would give it almost the same review as I gave that car. This is an extremely reliable car. Very plain, no bells or whistles, just the necessities, and I love it for that.
The gas mileage is very nice, for those days when I want to drive out of town or someplace further away, and the size of the car is rather compact. The handling of the car is top notch as well.
Story
Picked up at a police auction for 250 bucks. Nothing wrong with it.
Pros
Good gas mileage.
Comfortable.
Cons
Vanilla, plain-jane car.
Brakes very squeaky, even after replacement.
Light car=slides a bit on ice.
1992 Chevrolet Malibu - This car has saved me so much money in gas.
I love my car. It gets great gas mileage, and I barely ever spend over 20$ to get a full tank of gas. It's pretty comfortable to drive in, and it's always run really well. It's never given me any serious problems, and out of all the cars I've ever owned, this car specifically has saved me the most money.
Story
Going on road trips with my husband. It's always been pretty easy because I never have to spend a lot of money driving this car.
Pros
Great gas mileage, Well maintained, good stereo, reliable engine.
Cons
The ignition has a recall, it's pretty rusted, the air conditioning doesn't work that well, it's a really ugly color, it's not a dark colored car so you can easily see when it's dirty.
