2014 Chevrolet Malibu - Nice affordable car
We always buy American made cars and Chevy is our preferred brand. We have owned several Chevy vehicles and the Malibu has lived up to its reputation. I enjoy driving this car, it performs well. I have noticed no rattles or suspension issues. It has good speed pick up which I like very much. It's a sleek, nice looking car and the interior is roomy. And the trunk is very spacious as well.
Story
This was my daughter's car until she went over seas so I haven't been driving it long. I drive it to work and love it!
Pros
It gets good gas mileage, I don't have exact numbers but I don't fill it up more than once a week and I drive at least 40 miles a day to and from work plus additional around town driving. It is fun to drive, too.
Cons
Being a tall person, it is sometimes a struggle getting in and out of the car but that would be a con in any sedan. The only other thing I have found is there is a small storage place to the left of the steering wheel that I hit almost every time I get in the car, popping it open.
2010 Chevrolet Malibu - Reliable
It is a very reliable vehicle that has required minimum work in the six years I have owned it.
Story
I once got stuck on a patch of ice after parking on the street and required several peoples help to get off the ice! However, it probably should have gotten stuck more often, but since it's such a heavy car, it makes it out of snowy situations well!
Pros
It gets fairly good gas mileage- averaging about 30 mpg. Its interior is easy to keep clean. The car doesn't require any special parts, which makes maintenance affordable.
Cons
It is very low to the ground. It takes a little bit of time to get going fast. There are several blind spots since it sits so low and is a little bulky.
