2014 Chevrolet Malibu - Love my Chevy Malibu
My 2014 Chevy Malibu is one of my favorite cars that I have ever owned. It is a luxury car with sportiness built right in. It is sleek and beautifully designed. It rides smoothly, very quiet and reliable.
Story
My sister-in-law has to borrow my car on occasion, loves it so much that she calls it her car. She can't wait to get one.
Pros
My favorite features are the heated seats and remote start. I love the built in GPS and touch screen for the radio. The Bluetooth option is great to have for my hands free driving. The stereo sound from the speakers is so rich. The leather seats are comfortable. Love the warning signal in the sideview mirror that alert when a car is beside you. The trunk is a nice size. I have children that play hockey and can put three hockey bags in the trunk at one time. Love the consoles and compartments. The car gets great gas mileage. Cons
The only thing I have to say that is negative about the car are the wheels and tires. They are a 19" wheel with a very shallow tire. I do not care for that and have to get special wheels and tires for the winter.
2003 Chevrolet Malibu - Good used car
I like that my car is a six cylinder. It really has the pickup I need, and it runs great. I bought the car used, and it was only 1,700 dollars, so it was a really great value. The car is very comfortable with plenty of legroom, so when I'm driving or riding, I don't feel confined. However, there were also several problems with it mainly because I live in the Northeast, so there was lots of rust.
Story
It is just very fun to drive with six cylinders. When I got it, I found it very fun to accelerate as fast as it would go, despite the negative impact on fuel economy.
Pros
There is a moonroof that I really like that is great for air circulation. It is also fully electric with electric windows and locks. It also has cruise control, which is very handy. When I got the car, it had very nice upholstery. The back seat lifts completely out, so it is very good for cleaning it or getting lost items.
Cons
Shortly after I got the car, it developed a gas leak that was due to rust on the fuel line. When I got the car, it already had a very loud muffler system that caused me to get pulled over more than once. This was also due to rust. Speaking of rust, the whole underbody of the car was rusty, and I'm sure this will create more problems in the future. Number of the tires developed leaks and eventually went flat altogether.
