2009 Chevrolet Malibu - Quality and performance
This car has been an investment that was worth the purchase in 2009. With maintenance intervals completed, it has not required additional services. At almost 120,000, it still runs excellent. It has good gas mileage, and overall, it is a very reliable vehicle. Some downsides are the wiper blade replacements are a tad pricey for this make and model, and to change a headlight bulb is down right ridiculous. A mechanic needs to remove the whole front; it is a very ludacris setup. However, I cannot beat the long-lasting quality and overall performance since 2009. Plus, it still remains a stylish car after these years.
Story
Great vehicle to enjoy a spacious ride to the beach. Comfy, quiet, and good on gas--all made many wonderful trips down to the shore with family.
Pros
The vehicle has a roomy interior, stylish exterior, and overall comfortable seating. I enjoy the look and simple features of the console. It has an easy and affordable maintenance schedule and performance that lasts years.
Cons
The wiper blades are a bit pricey to replace, and the process to remove and replace a headlight bulb is extremely extensive and therefore an extra cost.
2008 Chevrolet Malibu -
I like mostly like the Chevy Malibu because it generally drives well and has some decent comfort features. The defrosters and the air circulation are really good.
Story
Practicing handling ice and snow conditions in an empty parking lot. It was fun to slide around in the ice and snow. Especially since no one was around to get in the way.
Pros
It gets decent gas mileage, and It functions pretty well. It has a decent sound system, and it handles most weather well.
Cons
The seats stay colder a little longer, and the angle of the windows isn't great for rain conditions. Some of the electronic parts get buggy though. After a while, the engine might have difficulty starting and that requires repairs.
