The 2019 Chevrolet Malibu is a decent midsized sedan in every aspect, but doesn't excel or excite in any particular category. The Chevy Malibu offers reasonable value with its low starting price, even on the more luxurious trims. A few notable features are missing. The lack of standard safety features does drop the value score slightly.
Starting at the second-tier Chevrolet Malibu LS, all models get alloy wheels, and most reviewers found the value most compelling in the mid-level LT trim. It competes against Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, and Hyundai Sonata.
