2015 Chevrolet Malibu - Love My Car
I just purchased my first new car this summer, a 2015 Chevy Malibu. I was very nervous buying my first car because, let's be honest, it's a HUGE commitment. I went to several dealerships and researched online. I test drove more cars and SUV crossovers than I ever thought I would. In the end I chose the Chevy Malibu because it was fun to drive and was right in my price range. I couldn't be happier.
Story
The first day I used the phone with the kids in the car they were so amazed to hear their dad talking through the speakers. They thought we were doing magic.
Pros
I love having the electronic dashboard where I can make calls, listen to Sirius radio, etc. It has made driving so much easier for me. I also like that it is a fast car and it has great pick up. I feel like I'm driving a sports car half the time. The body is really solid and I feel safe in this car with my family which is great.
Cons
Cons. Well here is where I had to give a little to get a little. I wish the rear interior were larger. I'm used to the Ford Taurus and there is more than enough leg room in that car. I also feel that the front seats were a bit smaller than the Ford. I wish the trunk space was larger to fit the strollers and diapers bags, and groceries, and all the junk that comes along with being a busy mom. And, lastly I wish the car were a bit cheaper and more in line with Hyundai or Kia. They almost didn't get my sale.
2015 Chevrolet Malibu - I like the car a lot.
I have always owned Pontiac's before I bought my first Chevy. I am happy with the purchase and would definitely purchase another one in the future. For work I need to drive a lot of miles, therefore with this car I know that I can count on it getting good miles to the gallon and it will get me to and from where I need to go.
Story
I recently went on a trip with my family to the beach and we had some great memories in the car on the way to a Delaware beach.
Pros
I am not much to really care about what my car looks like but I do enjoy the leather seats that heat up in the winter. I enjoy the built in Bluetooth and xm radio stations, since I like to listen to sports radio on my long drives. The inside of the car is very spacious and so is the trunk. Therefore, it is a great vehicle for small families (4-5 people) to go on road trips without having to own a minivan or large SUV.
Cons
I can't say that there is anything that I hate about the car. When comparing the Chevy to the previous cars I have owned, it is a little wider and longer, which took some getting used to but overall has not been a problem. I did have to replace the windshield wipers fairly quickly, but this is also a small issue that was easily fixable.
