2007 Chevrolet Impala -
If you don't have money and need a nice car, this is the one to go with. The only problem is that there is a buzzing noise when the ignition starts. Drives smooth, built firm, drives really fast, lots of special features. I would buy this car again. at this price I doubt anyone will find a better deal anywhere.
Story
I have an awesome time driving to work and back home everyday.
Pros
The car looks very good for the price. The car can drive pretty fast. As long as it gets serviced it will last. I get a lot of compliments when I drive it down the street. The A/C and the heater work like a charm. I love the power-lock doors. It is also great to have automatic windows. This is just a great car for the price.
Cons
This car has a very ugly interior. When you walk up to the car it looks like a spaceship and hen you get into this beautiful machine, sadly it does not look like it was made in America. If you ever bought anything from china and it felt flimsy, you may know what I mean. Chevy did not take time at all with the car. They took the old Chevy Monte Carlo added 2 doors and a new name.
2011 Chevrolet Impala - Great car, except for the transmission
This is my second Impala. Overall, it's a great car. Except for some transmission issues, I drove over 120,000 miles trouble free. The only other repair was a brake job around 55,000 miles. It's comfortable, handles great, and gets good mileage.
Story
I don't know what you would consider fun or memorable, but this car is my daily driver. I have teenagers and dogs. I've taught two teens to drive in this car, and I take my dogs with me almost everywhere. I imagine you could consider my rambunctious pups riding in the back seat to be memorable.
Pros
Like my first Impala (2001), it has a roomy interior and large trunk. Honestly, with two kids and two dogs, the big trunk is a necessity. I don't like vans or SUVs, so any sedan had to have plenty of cargo space and a roomy back seat. Caveat: The back seat is not as roomy as the 2001.
Cons
No doubt, the biggest con is the transmission trouble (explained in detail in the "problems" section). The more constricted back seat and the lack of cup holders in the back seat are minor drawbacks. Compared to comparable vehicles, though, the back seat is acceptable.
