2003 Chevrolet Impala - Very smooth ride.
This car is easy to drive for student drivers. I learned how to drive in the impala and it is very easy to maneuver. Sleek clean look to the car. Very well on gas mileage. My car was running good until it hit 170,000 miles on it and it started giving me problems. Not good in winter.
Story
I first learned how to drive on a very windy road in this car. I had a lot of fun and felt confident on the road.
Pros
Great on gas.
Cons
Front wheel drive, not good on snow or ice.
2006 Chevrolet Impala - A large tank like vehicle with soft suspension and a lazy v6 engine.
This vehicle matched all the stereotypes of an American car. Large, soft suspension with a big gas guzzling engine that should have produced way more power than it actually managed. It had a comfortable ride in a straight line but as soon as you attempted a corner then the usual complaint about American cars kicked in. This car rolled........ every corner it rolled it's way in and the flipped you back to level once you exited the corner.
Pros
Large interior. Comfortable seating. Plenty of storage places and a trunk big enough for the kitchen sink.
Cons
Large gas guzzling v6 engine. Not enough torque or horsepower for the amount of gas used. Countless electrical faults.
