2003 Chevrolet Impala - Efficient.
Got the vehicle as a rental and ended up buying in outright after doing some work to the car. Since I had to do a tune up on the engine, the mpg have been absolutely great! Now to say also the car is loud, the seals on the doors and windows fail all the time. But if you don't mind the noise of the engine and tires then this car is amazing for city driving. Would not recommend for longer road trips.
Story
That would have to be all the yard sales, be able to leave it running and have the car nice and cold when you got back!
Pros
Great gas mileage once again, the car seats 6, has a lot of space for what it is. Trunk is deep and vast with the spare tire hidden under the panel in truck. Deep enough for yard selling have found some nifty stuff and been able to fit it every time!
Cons
Now this is where it gets scary. Just has a lot of sounds that don't have an explanation. Transmission is the main issue that I have been seeing, starting to act like it doesn't want to shift. Example of when going to pass it instead will almost slow down if given too much gas.
2014 Chevrolet Impala - Well worth the money!
Bought this car because I was looking for something that was comfortable and had good gas mileage. This car delivers! I have an hour drive round trip to work each day, and I only have to fill up the tank once a week. The car only had 10,000 miles on it when I bought it. It now has 23,000 and hasn't needed maintenance outside of the normal oil changes. It's also a very beautiful car and makes me feel fancy.
Story
I drove down to Nashville with my dad, sister, and her two kids. We got to do all the touristy things. It wasn't anything too fancy, but we had a ton of fun.
Pros
Lots of space inside the car. It can fit three people in the back seat, and they have plenty of leg room. Large trunk. I can fit my father's wheel chair in there with room to spare for luggage or groceries. Good stereo with Sirius XM, if you pay for the subscription. Leather seats for the LT model. It is easy to keep clean. Good gas mileage.
Cons
Windshield wiper speeds are odd. They are either really fast or slow. There is no medium speed. Back quarter panels get dirty easily - dirt and water splashes up when the rest of the car doesn't get that dirty.
