2005 Chevrolet Impala - Research before you buy.

When I first got my car. I was in love with it. I was so excited about getting a car in my own name that the details and research didn't matter to me at the time. I was so sold on the looks that nothing else really crossed my mind to look into about it. Until I had my first issue with it 3 days after driving it off the lot. I had to drive it right back to get work done on it. That was a red flag right there.

Story

I would pick up my grandmother every weekend to run errands. One day we were leaving the grocery store and I started playing Single Ladies by Beyoncé. She started dancing and it was the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Pros

It's a silver/gray color. It rides smooth on the road. It's very spacious. It turned heads a lot. The stereo system was nice. Gas mileage was decent.

Cons

Maintenance costs a lot. The driver seat was uncomfortable after a few hours. Power went out on driver side window button. Hard to find side view mirror, which needed to be replaced.

2005 Chevrolet Impala - Good build, no mechanical issues.

It's a sandstone 2005 Chevy Impala LS, purchased in cash. I liked it because it was a larger car, and I'm a large guy. It has plenty of foot room, which was a huge plus. The car itself is very good on gas.

Story

I surprised my girlfriend when I picked her up one day, she did not know I had purchased a new car.

Pros

The main reasons I bought this car were its fuel economy, the space in the cab area, and the condition of the car itself. The car was in immaculate condition, the car has a good average MPG, and it has plenty of room.

Cons

The car is not a particularly powerful car, its motor is average at best. The upholstery is falling out from the roof, and overall, the car looks like a car an old man would drive.
