The only things I like about this vehicle is that there is plenty of space in the car & trunk. I also think the seats are very comfortable. What I don't like about this car is the Security issue that my car, and many others, have. For some reason, the car won't start for 10 minute increments. You have to turn your ignition to the Start position and wait for the Security light to stop flashing. This is always 10 minutes. When it does, most of the time you can then start your car. However, I have had it on many occasions still not start & I have to go through a 2nd or 3rd round. This is extremely ridiculous to me and very, very frustrating. I have been late to important things, work, etc. quite often. I never know when or how often this will happen. I've gone months of it not ever happen... (more)
Story
I really honestly don't have any good memories so far of this car. There was a time, recently, when I was stuck waiting on my car to start and I saw this bird attacking a cat over and over. It was the most funny thing! So, that incident made the time I spent waiting on my car to start more enjoyable.
Pros
The top positive things about this vehicle is the space, that it is very comfortable and that it hasn't had any other problems besides one huge one (see below). My favorite feature of the car I think is how comfortable the seats are & how spacious it is.
Cons
The top, and pretty much only, negative thing about this car is the Security issue that my car, and many Impala's, have. For some reason, the car won't start for 10 minute increments. You have to turn your ignition to the Start position and wait for the Security light to stop flashing. 10 Minutes later when it does, most of the time you can then start your car. However, I have had it on many occasions still not start & I then have to go through a 2nd or 3rd round. This is extremely ridiculous to me and very, very frustrating. The 2013 Chevrolet Impala is a great car. The car is wide and can hold up to 6 people, which is a must for my family. The leather seats are nice and stylish, which is hard to come by these days. The wood vinyl on the car dashboard adds a sense of elegance and glamour. The stereo is high quality and the sound system works excellently. The car drives so smoothly that it feels like you are floating on a cloud, and when I hit a bump in the road, I can barely feel it. I love the pull down seats in the back that leads to the trunk, because one time I locked my cars in the trunk, and had to crawl through the pull down seats to get to my car keys. This car is excellent and a bold ride.
Story
A fun and memorable story is when we were driving the car home from the dealership. The car was obviously new and still had the new car smell. My kids sat in the back and we put on a CD to listen to on the way home. As, I have said before, the stereo system is amazing, and we blasted music all the way home. That was a lot of fun and very memorable.
Pros
The top positive things about this vehicle is the sound system, the stereo, the drive of the vehicle, the space and capacity, the air conditioning, the style of the car, such as the leather seats and wood vinyl dashboard, and the ample trunk space in the back. The car is easy to drive and fun to ride in.
Cons
The top negative things about the vehicle is the probably that the steering wheel is large and hard to see over for us girls, and the leather steering wheel heats up in the sun, making me buy steering wheel covers for my car, which are not cheap. The gas mileage sometimes is a little high.

I love my Impala. It has been a very reliable car for the first 177,000 miles. Since I purchased the car, I have driven at least 60 miles a day commuting to work. It has a large trunk that is great for hauling anything. It also gets good fuel mileage for a full-size car. I average around 28 mpg. I love the leather seats, and they are very easy to clean. This is handy with a toddler who eats and spills a lot.
Story
One fun memory from my car is the time we had to haul three straw bales in the trunk that fell off the wagon!
Pros
This car provides a very smooth ride and plenty of space. It gets good fuel economy for a full-size car. I really like the extra large trunk space for hauling groceries. I also like that the rear seat will lay flat in two different positions in case you need to haul something long in the trunk. It was also very easy to install my son's car seat, and he had plenty of room for his legs.
Cons
The top negative for this car is it bent a push rod at 177,000 miles, and I had to replace the motor. This was a very expensive repair. I had expected it to get over 200,000 miles before I started having any trouble. I also live on a gravel road which is dusty. This caused the solenoid on the gas tank to be clogged, so I have trouble putting fuel in the tank.
