2009 Chevrolet HHR - A pleasant surprise!
I needed a more efficient vehicle for long road trips, without losing comfort and space, the HHR gave me the space and comfort I wanted in a vehicle. After shopping around, I narrowed it down to 3 vehicles, based on price, comfort and gas mileage. My 2009 HHR has been a surprise, but in a good way. I purchased it for the practicality of gas mileage, but have found that I enjoy the really comfortable and sporty styling also. It is different enough to be unique, but not weird. There are a couple of things to learn (blind spots), but once you master it, it's a really cool, economical car. Love it!
Story
Took my HHR on many memorable family trips from Virginia to Florida with no problems.
Pros
Fuel economy, understated style.
Cons
Getting used to the blind spots.
2007 Chevrolet HHR -
My vehicle is a 4-door hatch back, in the color gold. It gets you from point A to point B. But that is about it. I would never drive it out of state but that is because the tires that came on it. It's not horrible but it isn't the greatest either. The engine runs well. I have issues with the rims and tires. I go through a least a set of tires a year.
Story
I don't really have any fun /memorable stories in this vehicle.
Pros
1. The engine runs good.
2. It has a lot of space.
3. The back seats go down to the floor boards, so it's easy to put a wheelchair in.
Cons
1. To many blind spots.
2. The rims are horrible.
3. Big vehicle to park.
