2012 Chevrolet Equinox -
I feel like the Equinox handles well. It is very comfortable to ride in. There is enough cargo space in the back to carry a fair amount of gear. You can fold one seat down and still carry a passenger. We have not had issues with the vehicle in the year and a half that we have owned it. We see this vehicle on the road all the time. We must not be the only ones to like our vehicle.
Story
There was another vehicle in the parking lot just like ours, and I almost went to get in that vehicle instead of ours.
Pros
I like how well it drives and rides. You don't feel the bumps in the road. It also handles well, and it is easy to steer. I like that you can open the back by pushing a button inside the vehicle, and also, you can close it by pushing a button located on the base of the hatch door for easy access inside or out.
Cons
I feel like there is a big blind spot on each side of the vehicle. There can easily be a vehicle or bike hidden by this area. I have almost pulled out already and then there was something coming. So I feel like this could easily cause accidents. I also wish the vehicle was just a little wider. My husband's bass guitar does not fit across the back. We need to lay one seat down every time we transport the guitar. We could do this in our previous vehicle. We just placed it in the trunk sideways.
2013 Chevrolet Equinox - Great vehicle.
I love my Chevy Equinox. I have had it for about 5 years and it has never let me down. It gets me where I need to go. It is very comfortable to take on long trips because there is enough room for all of the luggage and for passengers. The car is pretty good on gas and it drives great in bad weather like snow and rain. I would recommend this vehicle to everyone, and it would definitely be great for families because it has a lot of space, but it's not too over-sized. Overall, it is a great vehicle and I will keep it as long as I can and maybe I will buy a newer one in the future because it has been so reliable. I also think it looks really nice and I love the red color.
Story
I remember taking my puppy in the car for the first time and she fell asleep half on my lap and half on the center console.
Pros
Has lots of room, comfortable seating, enough room to stick groceries in the back or anything else you need. I like the electric start, which works great in the winter because I don't have to leave the house to start the car. I love the dashboard display with the rear camera that pops up when backing up. It helps me see everything behind me and I have never had any problems with it.
Cons
The one thing I don't really like about this vehicle is that it is slow. It takes awhile to get going when you step on the gas.
