2013 Chevrolet Equinox - Fun to drive.
It rides very smoothly and comfortably. The interior has leather padded seats with lumbar support. There are good arm rests and the whole interior is comfy leather. I don't feel bumps at all when hitting them. There are hardly any exterior noises I can hear. Also it has a great sound system with good speakers. The cargo area is roomy and easy to access. There is a lot of interior storage areas. It also has voice activated controls for the stereo and navigation systems.
Story
It took me a week or so to learn how to use all the options this sub has. I was putting the wrong wiper setting or not using washer fluid when I wanted to.
Pros
It is great looking. It has all the features I wanted it to have such as heated seats, backup camera, navigation system. It rides very well and is spacious inside. The roof rack is expandable. It is all wheel drive and has a 6cylinder engine.
Cons
The folding seats do not go flat enough. It can be difficult to carry certain things in the cargo area. It doesn't have the greatest gas mileage. I seem to be filling it up often. The interior could be wider. It has the antenna directly behind the roof rack. The lift gate is supposed to be motion activated but it hasn't worked yet.
2014 Chevrolet Equinox - Good
Generally speaking, I like my Equinox. It rides well and is spacious. I'm actively involved in animal rescue and having a car that is large enough to transport dogs back and forth is crucial. I feel safer in an SUV than I do a regular car, and I know that Chevys are built well. I'm not a huge fan of the large side air bags, as it does impair my vision and causes a blind spot. Other than that, I have no complaints.
Story
Generally speaking, transporting dogs, both my own and shelter dogs, are fun memories that I'll probably always remember.
Pros
Spacious, safe, big, rides well, good quality, good brand, trustworthy. The interior is easy to clean, and even though my car is heavily used by my family and dogs, it is still in good shape and not difficult to spruce up.
Cons
Can be a little slow to accelerate. The blind spot that is caused by the area that holds the side airbags is the biggest con of this vehicle, in my opinion.
