2016 Chevrolet Equinox - Excellent vehicle when it comes to fuel economy and driving performance.
I have a 2016 base model Chevrolet Equinox. I really enjoy the fuel economy, which is around 22 city and 32 miles per gallon. I also like the color, the exterior is navy blue and interior is black. The vehicle has good acceleration, especially when coming on to a busy highway. The ride is also very smooth when driving.
Story
My family and I enjoy being able to hook up our USB drives to listen to our music while driving on long trips.
Pros
A pro about the vehicle is that the handling of the vehicle is awesome. It can cut corners very sharply. I like the design of the exterior of the vehicle, as it has a sporty look to it. I enjoy the backup or rear view camera, because it makes backing up less of a hassle. The nitrogen filled tires also are pretty cool, because I think they contribute to a smoother ride.
Cons
A con I have with my vehicle is that it is a little small in the backseat area. It is fine for 3 children, but not 3 adults. I also are not fond of the material on the seats. The cloth tends to get dirty easily even though it is black material. I also with the sound system was a little better. The stereo quality sounds a little cheaper than some other vehicles I have been in. Also even though it is a base model, I wish the vehicle came with fog lights. I think fog lights are much needed in low visibility areas and that they should be equipped on every vehicle nowadays.
2011 Chevrolet Equinox - Great comfort and MPG, drinks motor oil.
The exterior is an attractive looking and sleek vehicle. The doors open widely for all passengers. The interior has extremely comfortable seats in both the front and back. I found the front seats to have more leg room than a Kia Sorento. The width of the vehicle could be a bit wider for more elbow room. The engine of this vehicle creates a ticking sound that is normal due to its type. It also consumes one quart of motor oil every 1,500 miles, and this is expensive. However, the performance of the all-wheel drive is outstanding and performed very well in a recent snowstorm.
Story
We live in a rural area, and the vehicle had no porblem traveling up our tracherous driveway.
Pros
The positive things were the comfort of the front and back seats. The gas mileage is better than expected. The AWD performs well in this vehicle.
Cons
The interior is made with cheap materials. The type of engine has ticking sounds. The motor burns one quart of oil every 1,500 miles.
