2011 Chevrolet Equinox - Ehhh.
I am not the biggest fan of the Equinox. It is hard to see out of. It has many blind spots. It doesn't handle very well. I feel like there are many other better cars out there. Once in a while it will pause for a second when I hit the gas after a stop. That could be extremely dangerous. I have had to bring it in for several recalls. My dogs really enjoy that the windows go all the way down in the back.
Story
One winter in the Chicago suburbs we took the car drifting in a large empty parking lot since it was so good at skidding.
Pros
It does have adequate space in it. The back seats fold down which is nice when you have to fit something large in the trunk. My car has a lot of nice features such as a back-up camera, heated seats, Bluetooth, a USB connection, automatic start, and a sunroof. I enjoy the controls on the steering wheel for the radio and phone. It is also nice to have OnStar.
Cons
My car has chrome around the shifter which reflects sunlight right into my eyes making it hard to see. The air vents on the driver side are blocked by the steering wheel so on hot days it is really uncomfortable. The back window is small and the headrests cover part of it so it is hard to see out of. The car does not handle well when it rains or snows. It frequently burns out and skids.
2015 Chevrolet Equinox - Equinox is great.
This is a great SUV. I bought this SUV a couple years after I purchased my 2011 Chevy Malibu. I need a vehicle that was more reliable and I wanted something with AWD. The Chevy Equinox was perfect. I found a black 2015 Chevy Equinox LTZ with AWD, sun roof, built in Wi-Fi, navigation, leather seats, etc. It is a comfortable, smooth ride. I live in Illinois so we get a decent amount of snow every year, this vehicle has never got stuck and the sliding is minimal when it comes to ice. I bought the I4 instead of the V6 since I was working an hour from home and needed something great on gas. This vehicle is great on gas. Even driving 60 miles a day, I only have to fill up probably every 10 days.
Story
My daughter and I went on a 12 hour road trip from Illinois to South Dakota when I first bought this vehicle. The sight seeing and quiet ride made it relaxing.
Pros
Gas mileage, smooth ride, nice body style, spacious.
Cons
Limited room and can be expensive to maintain.

This dealership had very competitive pricing on their vehicles. Also, the sales staff there went above and beyond what you'd expect from a typical dealership. The car was fully washed and detailed for me before I left.
2014 Chevrolet Sonic - Webb Chevrolet Oak Lawn
The salesman was super polite. Offered water and a test drive, knew everything that he was talking about. Got to know us and was all-around a great guy. Definitely recommend this location to anyone who wants a new car.
