I have owned my Chevy Equinox for four years now, it has proven to be a safe and reliable vehicle. It handles very well for an SUV of it's size. There is a lot of interior space for everything from groceries to hauling larger items. The Chevy Equinox seats 5 people comfortably. The only drawback I found was the fuel economy which could have been better.
Story
I took the Equinox on a rode trip to the Adirondack mountains with the family, and we had an amazing time. The Equinox was great for hauling camping gear and all the supplies we needed with the ample storage space. Also there was even more space with the available roof rack, I could tie down even more items.
Pros
The Chevy Equinox has many great features. One I like best is the full size spare under the back of the cargo area, with a jack conveniently mounted inside the frame, this came in very handy when changing a tire, there is no need to climb under the vehicle to retrieve the spare. The Equinox has plenty of power when you need it, with a 3.4 liter V6. All Power Windows and door locks was an asset. Roof rack was great for even more storage space. The 6 speaker Stereo system had amazing sound. Fog Lights are equipped on this model which I found myself using quite often, in many situations.
Cons
The fuel economy could be better but it is average for a midsize SUV. The rear seats folded down but it would have been nice if they folded down and out of the way for extra storage. The rear hatch lifted up quite high but was not designed for people over 6 feet tall, I was constantly bumping my head on the top.

2013 Chevrolet Equinox - This vehicle is comfortable enough and I think it handles well - even in the snow but I don't love it.

What I like about it is that I think it's very comfortable. I also think that the car handles well and I drive in a lot of bad weather and it handles great in the snow. So I feel pretty safe in it and feel comfortable driving my kids around in it. It also has heated seats which is always a nice feature. I like that I sit up a bit higher too than some other vehicles out there so the visibility is better. It has decent gas mileage although I thought that it would have better gas mileage than it does. Does not do well on hills.
Story
Nothing too memorable. Just spending time in the car with my 2 young kids. And one time our dog Crosby.
Pros
The top things about this vehicle to me would be that I feel safe in it and feel that its a good car for all weather conditions. I think that it handles extremely well and it's very comfortable. You also can see well while driving - not a lot of blind spots. The heated seats are also nice.
Cons
What I don't like about this car is I feel that the gas mileage could be better than what it is. I also think that for a car like this it should have a lot more get up and go so to speak. It tends to slow down on the hills even when I gun it and I just don't think that's acceptable for a 2013 vehicle that you're paying this kind of money for.
