2011 Chevrolet Equinox - I really like driving my Equinox.
The vehicle itself is very nice. I like the comfort as well as the features. I wish the hatch area (opening) was a bit larger. It's easy to transport large items in the vehicle. It's just not always easy getting them in.
Story
We play a game... how many Equionox vehicles will you spot on the road. It's like 'Where's Waldo" -- just a lot easier since purchasing this vehicle, we've noticed how popular it really is... My sons are twins Each with a different teacher at school. Both teacher's drive Equinox vehicles.
Pros
I really like the remote start feature. I also find it has plenty of room for my children to sit comfortably, even on long road trips.
Cons
I currently have an oil consumption issue with my vehicle. This is apparently something that was known by GM in the 2009-2011 models, yet it was not considered a recall. I am now required to take the vehicle in for dealer checks at every 1,000 miles for 4 consecutive checks. If I go over mileage (which I did when we went on vacation), I am required to start over at Check #1 before repair will be approved under warranty.
2006 Chevrolet Equinox - Safe and reliable.
It has been a great, family vehicle. I have had little problems with it since I bought it. I was always told the Equinox are very reliable, and that is what made me check into one. It is good on gas for an SUV. It is very safe and reliable. I love how it looks. I've always wanted and an SUV rather than a car, because it's able to load things in the back, and since I have kids, it's better because we all have more room.
Story
The day I bought it! I was so proud driving it home from the car dealership. I took it to my parents right after to show it off.
Pros
I love my sunroof! And I love the bass when I play the radio. I love how it has a CD player. And I love the room it has. It's a good, family SUV.
