I own a 2012 Chevy Equinox, standard edition. There is not much to it and looking back I probably would not buy the vehicle again if given the opportunity. It gets decent gas mileage and is AWD so I have no trouble getting around in the snow and adverse weather. However, being 6'3" it's a little smaller than I'd like to have and often feel cramped. I have had no major issues with the vehicle so far.
Story
I thought I was going to be late for work but the AWD was able to get right through the snow and in a safe way. It was good to not have to worry about it all.
Pros
The AWD and the gas mileage is the best thing about this vehicle. It gets really good gas mileage, almost 25-30 MPG on the highway. Also, the vehicle is extremely reliable and I've never had an issue with getting to start and get going.
Cons
The size of the vehicle is probably the biggest negative for me but my wife likes it. It's a very basic set up inside but that has nothing to do with the vehicle and our choice in buying it. The side view mirrors are not as good as I thought they would be. The electronics also don't work all the time, especially the back up camera.
