2010 Chevrolet Equinox - Good sized for family
I bought this as a backup because I got a great deal. I love the size of the interior, and it drives smooth. Since it was used, and I live in an area that gets a lot of snow, there was some rust on the door frame. Other than that, no problems at all. It is reliable, and I have had no mechanical problems after driving it for almost a year.
Story
I only ride with my children and only to and from shopping and shorter trips. I have many happy moments listening to my children sing in the backseat while I am driving since the radio is great.
Pros
The price was great, which was the main reason I purchased this vehicle. It is not my primary vehicle, but I have found that I am driving more often than I thought that I would, because it is good on gas and feels safer than my other cars. I like the comfortable seats and the configuration of the instruments. The A/C also seems to work exceptionally well. Overall, I love this vehicle. I also can fit two car seats in the rear, and there is still enough room for someone to sit in between.
Cons
There is rust on the bottom of several doors, but I bought it with the rust, and it is my own fault for not taking care of it right away. The only other con is that lately it seems to hesitate when I step on the gas, and I have been hearing a strange tapping noise, but once I get going, it runs fine and the noise stops.
