2013 Chevrolet Equinox - So Bulky!
This car is not what I expected and I regret the purchase. It came fully loaded which is nice, the options are really top notch on it, like a luxury car. But the cons are many so for that reason I am looking forward to changing it up again and going with a different car. I have always liked the Chevrolet brand but this is making me rethink going with them again.
Story
I took it on a road trip to Canada and enjoyed sitting in the roomy passenger seat.
Pros
When I say that this car is loaded well I mean it. The options that come on it are better than what was offered on my husband's Cadillac. It comes with a touchscreen display that lets you load music and pictures, it has call assistant, leather seats, a rear camera for reversing, and a nice interior that looks more expensive than it actually is. Also the individual seats are roomy making it comfortable to be a passenger.
Cons
The cons that turned me off this car and make me mean it is that it is so bulky and still only fits five passengers. It has a wide body that makes it difficult to move around. It looks like it should be in a class with the Durango and the Envoy but it's closer to the Vue which is disappointing considering how much more this costs. Its slow accelerating but it doesn't make up for it by handling tons because its only a V6 engine. It doesn't drive well in the snow, is terrible on gas.
2006 Chevrolet Equinox - Loyal with good care and upkeep
I drive a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox. It is a great car as far as room goes, with lots of trunk space and room for five people. I have kept up with its regular maintenance and have not had any significant issues with the engine. However, the wheel bearings on this car seemed not built to last, and I have replaced them five times in the time that I have owned the car. It drives well, despite only being front-wheel drive and living in a state with snow.
Story
We have used this car for a lot of biking and camping trips. I have some favorite memories of fitting four full-size bikes into the car and driving out to the trails.
Pros
The car handles very well. Especially in winter, it does very well considering that it is only front-wheel drive. I also really like the amount of room that it has, plenty of room for five adults even.
Cons
The wheel bearings on this car were absolutely terrible. I have replaced them so many times that I could practically do it myself. I have learned after buying this car that this is a common issue with similar cars. I wish I had known that prior to buying. The mileage is not the greatest on this car too. It is very much a "you get what you pay for" in having an SUV.

2013 Chevrolet Equinox - Taylor Chevrolet
I have horrendous credit and they worked with me to finance my new car. They have late hours in the evening so I could go there after work. My sales person, Victoria, was very polite and patient with me and my financial history situation. She was never pushy and was really nice and "real" with me.
2007 Chevrolet HHR - Serra Buick Gmc Cadillac Washington
Great service. I noticed there was a crack in the tail light later and they expressed mailed the part to me as I lived 100 miles away at the time. I used a rental car to get there and the coordinated the drop off across town on short notice. It was very clean and professional.
