The A-Pillar is poorly placed, hindering driver's visibility and creating additional, unnecessary blind spots. Gas mileage is mediocre. Seats are uncomfortable for long-distance drives as they are rather short from front to back. Hatch is very difficult to reach if one is under 5'6" and is heavy to pull down from that height. Air conditioner is significantly underpowered. Vents cannot be turned off on the passenger side, nor can they be turned upwards enough to help cool the whole cabin. Driver's right vent is similarly ill-equipped. Only the left driver's vent can be turned on/off. Cargo space is limited due to a removable 'shelf' across the whole back. While it is removable, it would need to be stored out of the vehicle to get the whole cubic foot storage capacity, and it is not a small part.

Sometimes I have to lightly press the gas pedal when starting the car or it won't start. The breaks sometimes squeak when the car is cold. Most of the buttons on the center console have no paint left on them and that is only from normal use. Both side front windows leak during heavy rain. The main cup holder is very low which can be safety hazard. The two additional cup holders are flimsy. One of the charging jacks does not work which is inconvenient.
