2012 Chevrolet Equinox - Very solid car
The Equinox is all around a great car. It is well made, has a very comfortable interior and an attractive exterior. It looks like a classy vehicle, but it does not break the bank. In terms of performance, the car runs great on all types of terrain, whether it be residential or a highway. I live in a state with notoriously poor roads, but the Equinox easily traverses it with no problems. It has a very solid sound system, and the seats are comfortable. Equipped with good A/C and heating, so your ride will be comfortable no matter the weather outside. It is also a very spacious car. I am in a band and frequently have to move music equipment, and there is always plenty of space in the car.
Story
I have taken this car on several cross-country road trips, and it has always held up the entire way.
Pros
Very spacious interiors, always has enough room for sitting and storage. It is a good-looking car, and the interior is very nice. It is also pretty efficient and gets good gas mileage. There is a user interface on the dashboard that gives a lot of great information regarding vehicle performance and important updates.
Cons
There really is not much negative to say about this car. I think one thing that could be improved is that the tires are not exactly good for all types of weather, so you have to be careful in the rain and snow.
2015 Chevrolet Equinox - Great Choice for families
Love everything about this car. Touch screen has a menu that helps with things like finding gas stations and places to eat, therefore I have no reason to have to pick up and use my phone ( which means pulling over and losing time ). Interior is nice and easy to clean, with tons of space. We love to use it for the Drive In movies, and it has different sized holders in the back which hold our goodies just fine, and if they spill its easy to clean. Lots of trunk space, and its perfect for when the dog travels with us. She has plenty of room in the back to lay on a blanket and relax for the drive.
Story
It is perfect for the McHenry Outdoor Theater. It hold all our camping chairs and a cooler, and then its perfect with holders in the back to hold our drinks and snacks, and we have plenty of room to sit and relax in the back and watch the movie.
Pros
Major pros are all of the options on the touch screen, the easy to clean interior, and the large trunk space which fit everything from my 65 lb dog to my family of fours bags for a whole vacation, and the back up camera that changes angles with your turning the wheel.
Cons
Only con I can think of is its an SUV so you have to be careful parallel parking in cities and make sure you have room, I would love it they added a back up beep or noise in addition to the camera.
