2012 Chevrolet Cruze - Moderately satisfied
Chevy Cruze is a beautiful, sleek car that's packed with a lot of nice perks. The black interior is stylish and very comfortable with adjustable seats and fast-acting AC/heating. However, after six years of only very light usage, there are also a lot of problems.
Story
I've been on many road trips (concerts, museums, etc.) in this car since I bought it.
Pros
Beautiful, modern design that is particularly nice in blue. The sound system in the XLT is very sharp and crisp. Bluetooth is available and there is a button you can press on the steering wheel to place a phone call using hands-free. Inside the elbow rest there are two USB ports for connecting devices or charging them. It comes with built-in On Star, which can be a useful addition if you make a lot of trips and should happen to break down or have an accident. Remote start is included, which allows you to defrost and warm up your car in the winter and cool it off in the summer before you ge... (more)
Cons
The 2012 model I own has been subject to about seven different (potentially dangerous) recalls. My sun/moon roof has sprung a leak twice because the tubing is very bad at clogging up. When it clogs, rainwater and melted snow seep through the driver's side windows and pool up on the floorboards. I'm also dealing with a dead radio/screen in the dashboard at the moment, which is going to cost me $600 to replace.
