2012 Chevrolet Cruze - Enjoyable car
The Chevrolet Cruze is a good choice for an affordable first car. If you are in the market for a new small sedan, you should consider this vehicle. If you can, chose the upgraded engine and the navigational system. The convenience will be worth the initial cost. GM has done several recalls lately, but to my knowledge there are no current ones for this car.
Pros
Great mileage, comfortable driver seat and ample passenger room in the back. Fun to drive. The instrument panel display provides ample information for the driver. Radio and Bluetooth controls are conveniently located on the steering wheel for less distracted driving.
Cons
The air conditioning vents do not seem to be placed well. I can never arrange them in a way that directly reaches me. They aim towards the steering wheel. It also took a while to get used to the cupholder placement in the middle console. I would prefer if the cupholders were more forward in the cabin. The shape of the trunk makes it harder to get clean in an automatic car wash, so you may need to hand wash or get the car detailed instead.
2015 Chevrolet Cruze - Great bang for your buck!
For this to be a not-so-big car it packs a bit of a punch! It rides really smooth. It sounds like a racecar when you first take off (loud exhaust like a muscle car), but is very quiet when sitting still. It is fully loaded. From leather heated seats to remote start, satellite, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Story
This car is a very common car in my neighborhood and area. I'm sure because it's such a great car! My kids often go to the wrong car in the grocery store parking lot. I think it's hilarious!
Pros
Being able to open & lock my doors and start my car from my phone. And I get a monthly email telling me my car tire pressure, oil life and if all the main components are running properly.
Cons
Back seat is a little small. An adult or adult size person would be a little uncomfortable.
