2014 Chevrolet Cruze - Great Road Trip Car
Overall, I have enjoyed my Chevy Cruze. I have driven it on may long distance road trips and it is one of the most comfortable and quiet cars I have ever driven. It rides very smooth and gets great gas mileage. I make good use of the Bluetooth and usb connection features to listen to audiobooks and stream music from my phone.
Story
A group of friends and I drove it from Atlanta to Nashville and used the entertainment system to stream live comedy. This made our road trip very fun.
Pros
I love the Bluetooth connectivity and the plug and play quality of the entertainment system. The car also has lots of trackers to help assess mileage, battery life, tire pressure, and oil life. The car has a lot of leg room and is comfortable in both the back and the front seat. The trunk space makes for a lot of storage room to carry luggage on long trips.
Cons
The entertainment system can overheat in instances where the heat has been on for many hours, like on long trips, or in the heat of the summer. It does occasionally freeze and the car has to be shut off for a period of time before the system will reboot and function normally. The child lock and window lock are also one in the same in this car and there is no way to lock the front passenger window. This makes it difficult when transporting pets who ride up front.
