2011 Chevrolet Cruze - Cruze Cruise
The Chevrolet Cruze is a great little family sedan. It's basic, but sufficient. Small, but accommodating. This car will get you where you need to go reliably but comfortably. I really like that the Cruze has so many safety features, such as side curtain air bags, OnStar emergency services and high crash test ratings. Also, the ride is quite smooth and quiet for being a family sedan. As someone who spends a lot of time around a lot of noise for most of the day, it's nice to cruise home from work in my Cruze in a silent and comfortable environment. I've driven this car over 85k miles now and it's still running just as well as the day I bought it!

I have driven across the country from California to Florida and back in this vehicle with my dog and had a wonderful time. We stopped at several places along the way to see the sights and explore the country. I never once worried about my car getting broken in to or having issues with it running properly. We had a carefree and very fun adventure!

My favorite part of this vehicle is the entertainment system. It comes ready to connect to Apple products, XM radio and includes and auxiliary cable port as well as a CD play and access to AM/FM radio. Another perk of the Cruze is the level of customization in seating comfort. There are many settings to adjust on the seat, such as the standard front to back and leaning and upright levers, but there are also levers to adjust lumbar support and the incline/decline of the bottom part of the seat, making it an extra comfortable ride.

There are few negative aspects to the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, but one that stands out the most would be the navigation system. Newer cars have fancy LED displays, but this car has a small (about the size of the palm of a hand) display that is shown on the display above the steering column. It's functional enough, but may be difficult for someone with vision problems or other impairments to see easily.

2012 Chevrolet Cruze - Sturdy Sporty Car
The Chevy Cruze 2012 Edition with luxury trim makes you feel like you own a much more expensive car than what you bought it for when you sink in to the heated leather seats in the winter time. It has quite a bit of get-up-and-go for a sedan. It makes you feel like you can keep up with those “real” sports cars. Whether or not you can, I wouldn’t know, I try to avoid speeding tickets. With the luxury trim you have the options of hands free Bluetooth compatibility, OnStar, and Sirius XM radio. The sound quality of the previous three options are exceptional for price of the vehicle. A great feature of the Cruze is the standard/automatic shifting, if you need to get up to speed on an onramp quickly push it into manual shifting and I you’ll get to the speed limit before you know it. If you’r... (more)

If you’re just cruising around town or on a country road, keep it in automatic and utilize your cruise control feature, which works in both standard and automatic shifting. Overall it’s a 5 star car for the pricing!
My favorite memory of my Cruze is driving up Sandia Mountain to see the Crest at the very top. From the Crest one can see all of Albuquerque and even some surrounding areas. The view is magnificent. Nope I just put my car into Manual Shift and rode down the mountain shifting between first and second gear as needed. I barely had to touch my brakes.

2014 Chevrolet Cruze - Reliable, comfortable, no worries.
It's a nice car, very reliable and comfortable (and affordable). My previous car was a 2001, so many of my feelings may just be directed to this being a newer model. Runs smoothly, its stick shift (6 speed) works well. Very computerized; has XM Radio and OnStar; has a camera for reverse and remote entry. Gas mileage is pretty good. It's not really an "Eco" car despite the styling. Just a bit lighter (it doesn't carry a spare).
Not a bad looking car (I have a silver one). One problem is there are so many other silver Cruzes out there, it's hard to pick out in a parking lot. There's enough interior space to fit four comfortably. Four doors as well. I have had no difficulties with it at all. Nothing but oil changes and some other routine maintenance. There's enough interior space to fit four comfortably. Four doors as well. I have had no difficulties with it at all. Nothing but oil changes and some other routine maintenance. I once had a flat tire and was disappointed to not find a spare tire in the trunk (I don't recall the dealer saying anything about that). Trunk space isn't great. Also, it's not quite as peppy as my previous car (Mercury Cougar). There's no way to open the trunk from the inside, which I guess is for security purposes, but is somewhat inconvenient.
Took my parent's dog in it one time and went through the car wash (she loves that). But she peed in the back after.

It's an affordable automobile. I think I paid under $25K. It's a popular enough vehicle that there's no difficulties with service or parts. Everyone knows how to service a Cruze. Nothing fancy with styling, but attractive enough as it goes. I like the black interior. There's enough interior space to fit four comfortably. Four doors as well. It has a bit of pep to it and controls well. I have the 6-speed automatic and it is forgiving if you're imprecise with your shifting. It runs quietly (unlike my previous vehicle). I don't have to turn on/off the headlights. I love that I can check tire inflation and air levels on a screen. Gas mileage is pretty good. Reliability and durability are great so far. I have had no difficulties with it at all. Nothing but oil changes and some other routine maintenance.
Not as much power as my previous car (Mercury Cougar). It's not really an "Eco" car despite the styling. Just gets a little better gas mileage. People see the green decal and think it is a hybrid. It doesn't carry a spare tire, which is probably the cost of Eco. There's a patch and pump that I wouldn't trust to use. It's not a super exciting model, more reliable than fun, and kind of a dime a dozen car. There are thousands upon thousands of silver Cruzes out there. My car isn't special. Trunk space isn't great, and once or twice the trunk seemed to open of its own accord. There's no way to... (more)

I've already dumped OnStar, and they're kind of a pain to deal with. I feel like Chevy is siding with these two places to sell me stuff I don't want (but appreciated the free trial periods).
