I love this mid-size truck. It looks great and it's not bad on a gas, for being a truck. I have also driven almost 30,000 miles and I haven't had any serious problems. The dealership has fixed a few minor things that could really happen to any vehicle. I would recommend this truck to anyone that wants a mid-size truck that is affordable and looks great.
Story
I love taking my vehicle in the woods and driving it through the mud. I've done this multiple times and it's very enjoyable each time. Despite my truck not being 4 wheel drive, I've never been in a situation where I felt like I would have needed 4 wheel drive.
Pros
The vehicle runs very smoothly. It doesn't drive like a truck, it just feels like a very smooth run. It's also pretty fast for being a V6 pickup truck. One of my favorite features on this model (the V6), is that if you are driving on the highway with no change in speed or incline, the truck will shut off 2 of the cylinders, so it gets better gas mileage. It really does help and it's a great feature. I also like that it came with a backup camera, a light for the bed, and has remote start. It's great for the cold days of the winter.
Cons
One thing that happened recently to my truck is that the battery died and I only had the vehicle for a year and a half. Luckily, the battery was covered under warranty and the dealership took care of it right away. The only other issue that I have with the truck is that the suicide door (it's the extended cab version), sometimes doesn't register that it is closed and it dings. I've had a the dealership look at it and they thought they fixed it, but it went right back to doing it. I have read online that it's a common problem with the truck. I needed a work truck for one of my employee's. I have a crew of 5 people and I almost have all of there trucks swapped out for newer models so when they go to sell services they have nice looking trucks. I was down one truck as I had one more to replace. I have been looking and I finally found a truck to match the others and same color and year it was a find. And to top it off it was 3000 cheaper with less miles than my last purchase. So all in all I think it was a nice find and finally my crew is all fitted out with matching trucks and best of all they are all clean and represent the business in a way I want it to be represented. Story
I think just giving the truck to my employee was nice. They have been waiting for an upgrade for almost 8 months so it was nice to finally take care of them.
Pros
It matches my other employees trucks right down to the interior color. I like that we all have matching ones and the truck itself drives really well and is clean. The gas mileage is also really good and it handles nicely.
Cons
Nothing really so far outside of a very minor scratch and dent in the bumper but I will have this fixed in 2 weeks. Other than that no issues at all.
