The 2009 Chevy Colorado was a great purchase for me. It didn't have all the bells and whistles of the other vehicles that were over $20,000 more, but what it did have was a low profile and a large truck bed that allowed me to haul everything I needed. With the additional purchase of a bed cover this increased my value of the truck immensely as it was now a water resistant luggage carrier. Large enough to fit my entire family with two car seats, a dog, my wife in the front, her purses, and all of our beverages. The Chevy Colorado for me had the pick up and go that I really needed going up large mountains going from one side of Hawaii to another. It never slowed down and it continued to impress me at all times.
Story
Moving my entire house was great with this vehicle. 7 trips later, but it still made it possible.
Pros
The large truck bed, engine power, roomy interior.
Cons
No bells and whistles, no aux port on stereo. Basic interior looked slightly cheap.

This truck is a pile of dog turd, figuratively speaking. I would not recommend this truck to my worst enemy. This is just a general review but I will continue to get into further detail below.
Story
I got pulled over by an undercover cop after I was screaming out the window at him.
Pros
There is almost nothing positive to report on the truck except that it does run and the engine seems to run somewhat smooth. The tires have no fallen off, the gas tank has not leaked all over the ground, the windshield is still in one solid piece. I suppose there are a few pros to it.
Cons
There are more cons than the English language allows me to explain. The engine misfires in all cylinders for an unknown reason, has leaks in the evap system, has a bad thermostat, had a grease leak somewhere in the rear end, has drum and shoe rear brakes, has rear wheel drive and no option for all wheel, there is no auxiliary port in the radio, the speakers sound like trash, the top speed is barely 75. There is so much more wrong with it but I don't have time to explain any more.
