First off my Cobalt is at just under 67,000 miles and besides new tires it has never had any mechanical issues. It drives smooth and while gas mileage isn't exceptional, I can fill up the tank for around 30-35 dollars. Its also a very stylish car for guys or girls. Mine is black and while the paint is over 8 years old, it still shines like its brand new. When it comes to electronics inside of the car I have never experienced any difficulties as well. Overall this car is perfect for anyone with a low budget.
Story
I guess the best memories I have is taking my car to country concerts and trying to tailgate with such a coupe, rather than a truck.
Pros
One of my favorite things about this vehicle is its durability, and cheap parts. While I have had no mechanical issues, I have had to buy a new front bumper and it only costs around 80$ which is extremely cheap. It also has a TON of trunk space for such a little car. When moving into college I could fit two big plastic totes and a handful of other stuff in the trunk alone.
Cons
The main negative about this vehicle is the backseat space. It is a coupe that can fit up to 3 adults in the back, but from experience I can tell you it does not. Another negative I could talk about is the stock stereo system. The radio unit is not bad, but the speakers are pretty terrible. I would suggest upgrading the speakers as mine all were blown out within 6 months of having the car.

Bought this used in 2015 with 39,000 miles. I have driven this about 20k miles each year since, and it has served me well. The only repairs to be made were routine brake and caliper type stuff at the recommended mileage. Car gets around 28 mpg and handles extremely well. I live in the North East and commute 45 mins one way in harsh winters. It's a great commuter car, and I'll miss it when I trade it in.
Story
My son had got sick in the car, and it had a bit of an odor to it because of this.
Pros
This car is extremely easy to maintain, and when issues do crop up, they are small.
