The Chevy Cobalt is a great reliable car. I have had it for over four years, getting it from my grandparents when my grandfather couldn't drive anymore. Since then it has only had minimal maintenance and repairs, only what was needed. There was a recall at one point but the dealership did a great job in fixing the problem. For a four door sedan it has a lot of space and is great on gas. I live in a big city and fill up only once or twice a month. The car rides comfortably and is quick to go and stop, and can handle bad weather like a charm (if you have the right tires for it.) One time I lost control in slush, the wheels kept spinning but the car drove straight as we were at a bend. Luckily the car reacted with me (I knew how to handle this) and we managed to get to the side of the roa... (more)
Story
I can remember taking my family out to Six Flags in this car. We had chairs and a cooler in the trunk and we made a fun day out of it.
Pros
Great on gas. Comfortable seating. Plenty of space for a family of four. Large trunk. Repairs and maintenance are easy to do.
Cons
Doors are manual lock. Windows are manual.

This is a good city car. I live in an apartment and have to park in a small garage. While it doesn't have the turning radius of some cars I've driven, it fits into small spaces and parallel parking is relatively simple. It's a comfortable car to sit in for long periods without being a big vehicle.
Story
I've piled 4 passengers plus myself and taken a day trip up to Wisconsin from Chicago, and even though it was a bit squishy everyone had fun and was able to be at a comfortable temperature.
Pros
The car handles well and responds quickly to city traffic. It's relatively easy to park. It has plenty of room for adults in the back seat, even on long road trips. The trunk has plenty of space.
Cons
The hood is difficult to open, you have to pop it and then release a latch under the front bumper which is hard to get at. The blind spot in the front driver's side often is a bit bigger than I want, I have to lean forward to make sure I am not missing pedestrians in cross walks. The info scroll on the dashboard is a bit annoying, it only goes one direction and it doesn't seem a very logical order. For example, if I have a low tire pressure alert, I should be able to hit "info" and have it show tire pressure, not have to scroll through 5 different "infos" to find it. Seems silly but it's r... They were very helpful in walking me through every step of the process -- I was a college student at the time, and didn't know what to expect or how to even go about getting a car loan, but they were extremely patient and gave me a really nice deal on my car.

They were incredibly helpful with getting me the car I needed. The car was in great working condition, and the price was more than reasonable. In terms of bargaining, they were incredibly fair and gave me a discount and a good financing plan. Would definitely shop from here again if I ever look into buying another car in the future.
