Car was excellent. Gas mileage, safety, sportiness, reliable. It was a great car and I don't' have many cons. It saved my life with it's safety when I totaled the car. I didn't die but I did have some traumatic brain injury. It was a reliable car and quite well. The only bad thing was it was absolutely awful in the snow.
Story
I drove the car to Camp Bisco one year to an EDM festival. This car got so filthy. Completely dusty from all the dirt that was getting kicked up and I kept finding dust everywhere in the car.
Pros
This vehicle had a lot of positive things about it. It was my first car and the gas mileage was a savior. This was at a time when gas was four dollars a gallon. 32 miles per gallon is incredible. The car was a sleek car. Nothing too extravagant but it did the job. It looked normal and was extremely reliable. I never had to really spend much money to fix the car and no parts really ever got so bad I needed to replace them. The tires lasted a long time. It never gave me any problems, always passed inspection, was a fun car to drive around. IT was so small and light that it could just zoom.
Cons
Not many cons really. It was really awful in the snow and would get stuck a lot. Being only a two door car I couldn't really take many friends anywhere because nobody wanted to sit in the tiny back seats. When my tires did blow out, it was always a pain to put on the spare with that car. The lug nuts were so rusted and tight. I don't have any cons about the money cause it was a gift to me. Sometimes the fuses would get lose and I would lose stuff like cruise control. Nothing too crazy

The Cobalt was a really great car in the beginning. It was peppy and very responsive. It provided us with a lot of great transportation. However, it soon became apparent that the quality of the vehicle was not very good. The vehicle began to have a lot of mechanical issues. The car had front end problems. It would shut off on the highway, etc.. Overall, the vehicle has been average-to-below-average in ownership. I chalk this up to the fact that Chevrolet has not been producing quality vehicles for some time. The break fix rate on this vehicle had been steadily increasing over time. Recently, the vehicle has been more stable but still shows up with the occasional weird issue.
Story
Taking the car to Kings Dominion in Virginia on our first trip there. We had just purchased the vehicle and decided to take it on a maiden voyage to Virginia. We decided to take the car on a long trip to test out the gas mileage and comfort on long trips. The car was very peppy, and we found it gave us great gas mileage. The trip was enjoyable, and we did not have to rent a gas guzzling ve... (more)
Pros
Size. Gas mileage. Color scheme. Leather seating. Engine speed.
Cons
Mechanical breakdowns. Comfort. Interior lighting is very poor. No Bluetooth. Dirty engine bay. Not easy to work on.
