The 1991 Rally Sport Camaro is a V8, 305 HP, 5-speed stick manual, RWD. It has over 200,000 miles on it. When I bought it in 1993 in Colorado it was a beautiful metallic silver color. A few years after moving to sunny Florida it needed repainting, I selected teal. I was first attracted to it's racy look: the low, sleek form and pronounced spoiler, especially on the front and sides. I like the hydraulic hatchback and the back seat can be easily turned down for carrying long cargo such as furniture or lumber. The inside door and upholstery is gray with front bucket seats. Black dashboard, shift console and middle glove compartment, between the seats. The carpeting and rubber foot mats are also gray. The A/C and heating always worked great. The A/C was replaced twice as well as most ev... (more)
Story
I had an emergency at the hospital and had to take some risks getting there. The car performed outstandingly. Passing cars on two lanes roads is a breeze.
Pros
Fast. Easy to maneuver. Simple engine and parts.
Cons
Rides low. Not for winter driving. Hatchback light mounted at top impedes vision. Difficult to roll manual windows.

This is my 4th Camaro starting with a 1997 model. The build quality of the 5th gen Camaro is far ahead of the late 90's 4th gen Camaros. With the optional RS package you get center console gauges that pay homage to the muscle car era while still being functional. For the price it is just about impossible to beat the performance level. A car under $40,000 new with a big V8 motor. A couple things do detract from the early production models of the 2010 Camaro's. Mid production year, Chevy started adding backup sensors and the first half don't have them. The radio is a non-standard shape and size, so replacing it is not easy.
Story
Driving the car home from a friends house with the stock performance tires after a snow storm. To say the drive was interesting would be an understatement.
Pros
400 HP engine which really moves the Camaro. The highly stylized looks of the Camaro. Great drivers seat, comfortable and firm.
Cons
Poor visibility all around. Long and heavy doors. Passenger seat has no adjustment to raise or lower it, short people may not even see over the dash. While both back seats have the LATCH system, it is not a good car for car seats. Stock P-Zero tires are warm weather only!
