2012 Chevrolet Camaro - Great car but with some catches
I have greatly enjoyed my Camaro. She has given me three great years so far and I really cannot complain. She has been a daily driver, and I have always been not as attentive to her as I should be.
Story
I took my nieces out with the top down through town, so they could impress their friends at the local park.
Pros
I have hardly had any problems. Her gas mileage is amazing as well as her overall engine and transmission. She has almost 180,000 miles on her and nothing major has broken down or needed to be replaced. Her computer system has been amazing with telling me what is wrong. Her handling is amazing, she really hugs the road. I love the Bluetooth connection I have with my phone. The bucket seats are amazing.
Cons
This year model has had quite the amount of recalls. So far I have had to replace the convertible top because the water collection bag has a leak. The engine oil pressure light continues to come on and I do not like that the car does not hold a spare. I do not enjoy the tire sizes, they are very expensive and need to be replaced often. I had the passenger seat get stuck, where it would not recline. The motor had been jammed and was awful to fix.
2012 Chevrolet Camaro - Love my car
The car is great and one of the best cars I've ever owned. I have an orange one with black stripes. Besides being a very beautiful car, it handles well and is built wonderfully. It has tight steering which is something I like. There is plenty of room in the back seat as well so you can still have passengers ride with you. Overall, I would definitely recommend this car to a friend. I love it!
Story
It is very recognizable so it is fun when people tell me how much they like my car
Pros
The tight steering, good handling, excellent gas mileage, the sound system is amazing, which is good since I listen to music very often. The car has a sporty yet sophisticated look to it. The color it came in and the stripe style are beautiful to me.
Cons
The worst aspects about this car would be the blind spots and the way it handles in rain. The blind spots on the car are pretty bad so I have to double and triple check to make sure I am not going to be pulling over into someone in the next lane. When it rains, the car does not do too well at staying on the road. It slips and slides a good bit. I would not recommend it to someone who lives in a rainy climate.
