My Camaro was a dream purchase, as I saved up for it for years and it does not disappoint. From an aesthetic perspective, the car is beautiful. The lines are sleek enough to be appropriate for a woman to drive, but still enough of a muscle car for any man to own. My 6-cylinder is better on gas than its 8-cylinder counterpart, but still has a ton of horse power and no worries about speed and acceleration.
Story
As I chose the rally yellow paint job with the black racing stripes, my car is often referred to as the Transformer. I am a college professor and my students are always quite excited to find out that I am the one who drives "Bumblebee."
Pros
This car is extremely powerful without being a fuel hog, which makes it attractive for those that want to use their muscle car for work commutes or longer trips. The look is quite stunning, and with the rally yellow paint job my car literally turns heads on a daily basis. The body is made of sturdy metals, not plastic, so it makes me feel safer than some of my previous vehicles. The trunk is a lot larger than expected. I regularly grocery shop for my family of seven and have no trouble getting all of my groceries home. The back seats can also be laid down with a pass through for larger i... (more)
Cons
There are only two downsides to this car, in my opinion. The first would be the blind spots. When driving, the blind spots on either side are a bit worse than most vehicles based on the low/hooded design and the body shape. This is easily overcome with practice and extra vigilance when driving. The second would be the leg and head room for anyone sitting in the backseat. The front seats are comfortable enough for most anyone, but the back seats do not offer much room for anyone over average height. My teens still prefer to ride in my car over a minivan though!

2011 Chevrolet Camaro - A great looking car that I enjoy driving.

It is a quality vehicle that hasn't required any repairs beyond the routine maintenance. The color is an eye catching red, almost like a "Candy apple red". The car performs quite well. It has a powerful engine that performs well under certain situations.
Story
About 3 weeks after I got it and had just broken it in. I was driving home late at night. There were no vehicles on the road at that time and it wanted to see how fast it could go. I didn't press the accelerator very much, but in a short time, I was driving at 106 mph. Not wanting to be reckless, I eased up on the accelerator. Nice to know that it has the power they said it had.
Pros
From the time that Chevrolet first released the newer version Camaro, I have always wanted one. I just like the looks of it. As I ordered the car without the stripes, it makes it look that much more classy looking instead of the Hot Wheels toy or Transformer car. I am really happy that it is reliable and has not had any mechanical issues.
Cons
While this car is good and attractive, if there is only one or two passengers, it works well. It is very difficult to get into the back seat for additional passengers.. If you had children, they could access the back seat with a little more ease. Being a 2 door vehicle, it is difficult to fully open the doors and to get in. It always feels like you're climbing in or more like crawling in. Driving the car requires adjusting how you drive since the front end of the car is longer than most others I've driven.
