Chevrolet Blazer Owner Ratings & Reviews

1994 Chevrolet Blazer - Excellent starting car
We love the toughness, they last long, at least 300,000 miles. The doors are good, great gas mileage. We have 3 of this make and model. That is how much we like them. Great to learn on and take anywhere. Good size for a couple, with or without children. Don't like the blind spots on this model. That's all we don't like.
Story
As soon as I got it, I drove 900 miles to Florida, it was the perfect little truck.
Pros
We love the s-10 blazer we own 3, each of my children learned in them and love them. My hubby has one, we have driven over 200,000 on each of them. They are long lasting safe cars. We like Chevy. Even when they get old we just get them painted, less rust than most cars get. Tough and good car to own. Lasts at least 300,000 miles, great on gas.
Cons
The blind spots are terrible. But we adjusted, we got little mirrors on the side mirrors and you just have to look carefully.
1997 Chevrolet Blazer - Takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
I have a 1997 Chevy blazer. Its 4 wheel drive. It has leather seats, CD player, automatic windows. In a nutshell its pretty basic. It has significant rust in the undercarriage and some superficial rust on the exterior. Has ample trunk space and the back seats fold down for additional space. But the air conditioner doesn't work. So, the leather seats in the summer make your legs stick to them. And you get a little sweaty. I have had to make several trips to the garage since I've had it. With its age its a given. I've probably spent more on repairs than the truck itself. Plus it has one of the best motors, with the least problems ever put in a Blazer.
Story
I have family that lives in the country. Near their property is a field with a hill along side it that is filled with brush and small saplings. The kids were trying to sled ride down the hill but the brush kept stopping the sleds. So I told them to get out of the way and put my truck in 4 wheel drive and proceeded to drive up and back down the hill. Packing down the brush for a smooth surface.... (more)
Pros
I love the 4 wheel drive. Living in Pennsylvania it's needed in the winter. It has gotten me up many a slippery hill. Has ample trunk space with fold down back seats for additional room. Has one of the best motors Chevy ever put in a Blazer. Runs strong.
Cons
Its leather seats are hot in the summer, since it has no A/C. The back of your legs get stuck on them. My CD player quit playing CDs, so I'm stuck with the radio only. And my fob key quit working.
