I've driven a Chevy Aveo for over five years now. It is the most basic trim level possible. No power locks or windows. About 60,000 miles so far. I've used it for several road trips and daily commuting. It's fine. That's really the best I can say about it. It's not luxurious or a great drive, but every time I turn the key it starts and it doesn't eat gas so I like it. Good high up seat with good vision, but the side of the wind shield has a terrible blind spot.
Story
My buddy once rolled the manual window up really fast when cold rain started getting in the car.
Pros
Small. Good turning radius. Seats dry quickly.
Cons
Not that fancy. No power anything. Whistles when I go above 70mph

2011 Chevrolet Aveo - Poor engine.

I only had this car for 3 years before oil got into antifreeze reservoir. It made my car shake as I drove it, so I took it to the dealership. They had to take apart my whole engine, clean it, and put it back together. As you guessed it, that cost a lot of money. And it took 7 weeks to complete!
Story
Traveling around my state in it. Getting from point A to point B. Going to bowling tournaments.
Pros
It gets really good gas mileage. Has air, heat, and power windows/locks.
Cons
Tiny car. Flimsy. No Trunk. Moves in windy conditions.
