I have a black hatchback Chevy aveo it's pretty convenient drives nice enough and hasn't been too big of a pain. the overall quality is OK. it's good for a starter car but i definitely would not buy it again... at least the basic model. it sort of broke in a lot of places too.
Story
if have a ton of course if bought it when if turned 19 and I'm 24 now so it's lived through all my crazy years!! nuff said ;)
Pros
It's cool that it comes with OnStar even though i never used it but OnStar instead of power locks/windows? random. it's good on gas and quick to jump in and out of or take on road trips. it LOOKS really cool on the outside. the grill looks bitchy which is a good thing. it has a little light that comes on when the air in the tires is low which is cool and convenient.
Cons
the stick shift makes it inconvenient to drive in bad weather or traffic or if I'm trying to do my makeup ;). i got the basic version so i also don't like the lack of air conditioning in the basic model or that it didn't come with power locks or windows. it also didn't come with a CD player. The tranny went out recently which i also didn't like. the car is also pretty small it's almost a little claustrophobic. the back of it I'm not a fan of the lights i like the 2007 model better on the back. the door handle broke off too. its not very comfy either

I have had my Aveo for about four years. I purchased it after researching many cars, I was looking for something economical and decided on an Aveo because of the low price. I have only had a few minor repairs done and all were very affordable. The only thing I am not looking forward to replacing is the battery because it is a very specialized model and will be expensive to replace. The gas mileage is great and I get 30 plus miles to the gallon. I have over 110,000 miles on it and have had no significant issues. The backseat is a little small but I can still fit three car seats in it, although it is a little cramped. I love the small size, as I can fit it into many parking places in the city which tend to be small. It also has a surprising amount of cargo room, especially when the backs... (more)

I resell things on craigslist and the orange color of my vehicle works perfectly as it makes me easy to spot.
Pros
My top favorite features are the gas mileage and the maneuverability.
Cons
The cost to replace the battery and the small back seat.
