2011 Chevrolet Aveo - Chevy Aveo-Your own personal roller skate.
This is a small car; not as small as a smart car but definitely better! As a Chevrolet it is good quality at a low cost. Great for commuting or for a first car for someone who is looking for reliability and affordability.
Story
My kids and I call it our own personal roller skate! It's shaped like one!
Pros
Top positive is the gas mileage 27 (city) 35 (highway). I only have to fill up twice a month and it still doesn't cost that much. It has a small trunk that is deceiving to the eye because it actually fits a lot more in it than it seems it should. Another great thing is that it fits in small parking spaces. Whether you are parking in a regular parking lot or need to parallel park, this thing fits anywhere.
Cons
It does seem to have a weird goat like sound it makes when you're idling. Also if you want to go up a hill, stay in the right lane because you won't be going anywhere fast. Even though it being small was a plus for fitting into parking areas it's also a con because your tall or big friend will not fit in there. If they do, they will be very uncomfortable.
2006 Chevrolet Aveo - Great car for local driving
Got it for my wife and we both ended up driving it for a bit. We mostly used it to ferry around the kids around town to their sports and events and it never let us down. Not the largest vehicle but surprisingly roomy and we able to fit anything we needed inside. Neither of us really cared to drive it on the highway or in speedier situations.
Story
This was my wife's first vehicle. She never got around to getting her license while she was younger and I basically got to teach her to drive in this. We had loads of fun on the back highways as I explained what to do and got to watch as her confidence grew as she became more accustomed to driving. She was like a teenager all over again.
Pros
It has a really nice and simple design that is pleasant to look at. Incredibly spacy interior that has room for almost anything you'd want it for. You don't pay a lot for the vehicle but you do get more than your moneys worth. Got very good gas mileage which was an extremely nice bonus seeing how cheap the car was when we initially bought it.
Cons
Does not do terribly great on the highway at all. Not fun to drive at high speeds or anywhere you might be expected to make some tight turns. We had to bring it in several times for break problems until we finally decided to purchase a new vehicle and gave this to our kids for local driving around town.
