Beautiful stretch of highway that connects the Salinas Valley which is the lettuce capital of the world to the beautiful coast of Monterey. During the spring there are blue lupines and orange California poppies a sight only a few are blessed to see.

My favorite drive was when I was driving one weekend on a country road in Salinas in a rural section of the city. I enjoyed the scenery which included cows, green grass and hills along this road. It was also sunny which was sunny and added to the nice scenery.
