The Brand Boulevard of Cars on South Brand is famous for its string of dealerships. You can find just about any new car you want or compare shop easily because the dealers are right next to each other. Avoid smaller lots that sell used cars, because they are usually not good quality.

It goes winding up a mountain and makes you feel that you're on an isolated patch of forest. The scenery is beautiful, the houses are well-maintained and spaced out so they don't take away from the natural beauty. At the top is a nature preserve that is like a climax to the drive. I don't drive t

I've heard great things about LA Car Guy. I'm not sure about local dealers, and the prices don't seem to fluctuate all that much from what I see posted on local dealership's signs, so it doesn't seem like there are great local bargains.

I love driving down Route 66 on hot nights with the windows down. The lights sparkle down the boulevard and the cool air rolls down the foothills.

It's historic, like the song. It reminds you of all the great things that make Southern California. But it's still alive with the mundane- kids walking home from school, little mom and pop shops.
