2000 Cadillac SRX - It is a greatest long-distance and leisure car.
I liked the size if the car. It gives me the feeling of an SUV almost but with the comfort of a mid-size vehicle. It gets considerably good gas-mileage yet is a gas guzzler on the interstate. I dislike the fact that it is a little heavier steering and slower torque compared to modern mid-size vehicles. Moreover I feel that the brake life of the particular model leaves a little to be desired.
Story
I remember when I had to drive in this car to visit my grandmother in the low country region of South Carolina. Ad you progress closer to her house there are only dirt roads. It took all my might and concentration to direct my car there because the roads were really washed out.
Pros
The car is very well built in terms of comfort.
It has a very spacious backseat.
It rides smooth and has great gas-mileage.
Cons
This vehicle does not handle rough terrain very well.
It is a gas guzzler on the interstate and highway.
2013 Cadillac SRX - Pretty car but ugly parts
Okay car with good looks, but parts are very cheap, and it seems like every few months there is something new to fix.
Story
Road trip to Jacksonville for rock music festival. It was a ten-hour trip that we took, and we were able to stop at Pensacola for a few hours and enjoy the beach. I forgot the time change, going from central time to eastern time. So I was worried that we would be late for check-in. Luckily, we made it with a few minutes to spare.
Pros
Good gas mileage.
Cons
Cheap parts that break constantly.
