2012 Cadillac SRX - An overall good vehicle
I have owned my 2012 Cadillac SRX now for about 6 months now. So far I have no regrets about the purchase. My previous vehicle was a truck. Upon purchasing the vehicle the dealer asked me if I wanted to trade in my truck but they advised against it. They said that normally guys miss their trucks when they get rid of them. I'll have to say that I ended up not trading my truck in, but I have not driven it since I bought this Cadillac. Its very comfortable and rides very smooth. The styling of the SRX is just downright sexy. The 3.6L engine pumps out quite a bit of power and still has decent gas mileage. I currently am averaging 22.4 mpg's. Its not the greatest but coming from a truck that gets about 12 mpg's on the highway its a huge step up. There is plenty of room inside the vehicle. I... (more)
Story
I had just washed and waxed it so the shine on it was awesome. I went to the grocery store and the car i parked next to there was a man in the car waiting. I went in the store and came back out. He had thanked me for parking next to him because it was so nice to look at. Then he said "Much better to look at then my wife"

The A pillars are kind of big. Sometimes it can be hard to see when turning.
2012 Cadillac SRX - Nice but too small
When I first purchased this vehicle, it was to replace my old vehicle that wasn't very reliable. I was forced to make a quick decision because my car at the time wasn't starting at inconvenient times, and no one could figure out why. I really love the car when I first got it. It drives very well, and it had the upgrades that I wanted in a car. The interior was very nice and it had most of the bells and whistles.
Story
When I first got the car, my friends were very impressed and liked driving around in it with me.
Pros
What I liked most about this car is that it had the sun roof, xm radio and navigation, leather interior, oversized wheels and chrome rims. It drives very nice and seemed to have a lot of room.
Cons
After owning this car for a period of time, I realized that it is way too small for my family. I paid too much for it, and now I owe more than it's worth so I can't sell it or trade it in. The lift gate for the trunk doesn't operate well, the gas mileage isn't that great and it doesn't drive as smoothly as it did when I first got it.
