My SRX is one of the best vehicles. No, it is the best vehicle I have had the pleasure of owning. It has been reliable. We have had no major issues. Though it does not have third-row seating, it is still very roomy. The warranty is pretty inclusive. I love the sound system...we listen pretty loud frequently, and there is not a crack in the sound at all. We have done regular maintenance, which was included, and she runs like a dream. We run a lot of miles, and we have had to replace the brakes twice and tires once. It does run through more power steering and brake fluid than I think is normal, but compared to all the pluses, this is no big thing. I always recommend SRXs to those who need a family vehicle.
Story
We camped in a few times...way better than a tent to sleep in! Actually, it was more of a forced situation when the rain started coming down. The kids were restless and scared, so we loaded everyone up and went for a drive. We were spelunking in Kentucky, so we weren't familiar a mind wound up on some twisty mountain road, pouring down in sheets. The kids were knocked out, but I was terrified.... (more)

The car is awesome to drive. It has a lot of speed, power, and agility. It maintains its looks and is a very recognizable vehicle. The automation in the vehicle is great. It is nice to have the seat go exactly where you want, including the steering wheel, pedals, and sideview mirrors. There are places to put things all over the car, so you can stay organized, even if you are a bit messy. However, do not get into an accident with this vehicle. I have been hit a couple of times, and no airbags have ever deployed, and one time the lady hit me going 70 mph.
Story
I took this car to the Grand Canyon, and we could go anywhere. This car is awesome.
Pros
Automation is awesome. It looks beautiful. The kids love the movies in the backseat, and having cooled seats in the summer is the best. It tells you when anything is going on through sensors and keeps you on track of everything from your lane, to distance, to tire pressure, and when you need an oil change. It is pretty awesome.
Cons
The navigation system is old and outdated. The airbags have never deployed. You can only use cruise-control when you are running with all-wheel drive. Sometimes features will randomly decide not to work, like the security sensor will say malfunction and won't go off or the cruise-control won't come on (even in all-wheel drive).
