The 2016 Cadillac CTS Luxury had me skeptical at first, but was quickly won over by the quiet ride and smooth handling of this half sports car half grocery getter. Coming from a 2014 Chevrolet Impala (which I was impressed with as well), I figured how much quieter could the cabin get? I was indeed surprised as to how much more quiet the cabin was, even than my Chevrolet Impala.
Story
I turned the traction control off and smoked the tires! Being that the car is rear-wheel drive, it did not take and effort on the 3.6 V6 to start spinning the tires at the stop light.
Pros
Super quiet ride, little to no engine noise. Comfortable cabin with convenient features placed within arms reach. Very quick 3.6 liter V6 engine that has 3 different driving modes. Spacious cabin with well appointed leather seats and trim.
Cons
Small trunk space that can barely fit two sets of golf clubs. The Cadillac CUE system can be interesting to work at times. No CD player which I found odd, but no longer miss.

It's been a good car, overall. The engine lacks a little low end grunt and seems a little weak compared to some other vehicles in the same class. The interior is comfortable, and the car is great for long rides. For a RWD, the car is actually not that bad in the snow. The car is a good daily driver but not one I would really recommend if you typically carry a lot of gear. Don't get me wrong, a few suitcases or travel bags will get swallowed by the trunk, but if weekend camping, biking, etc. is your thing, then this might not be the car for you.
Story
The car gets me where I need to go. It's good on fuel and is a good choice for an everyday commute.
Pros
Great handling, comfortable interior, and nicely styled exterior without going too far "over the top."
Cons
The 2.0 turbo might not be the best engine for this car. Granted, I didn't buy it thinking I was getting a sports car, but a bit more power would be nice.
