Where to begin? This car is an ideal buy if you are looking for a vehicle that meets a wide range of preferences. First of all, it's a Cadillac, so you know that quality is virtual guarantee. In addition, this vehicle is loaded with just about every option you could imagine (in the year it was produced), and that's just what is included for the standard package. This vehicle has a few drawbacks but for the most part, it is a sure fire solid decision.
Story
I took my wife out on our first date in this car... very memorable indeed.
Pros
Where to begin? This vehicle has so many pros that I'm going to have to filter out a lot of them so that this review won't drag on for days. For starters, it's just a sharp looking ride... Plain and simple. Another plus is that the fuel efficiency is outstanding compared to other luxury vehicle six cylinders that you will see out on the road. The motor is very powerful and provides a nice punch for a medium sized sedan. In addition the interior leather is very soft, and the vehicle itself provides about as smooth of a ride as you'll ever experience. This vehicle is hands down one of the be... (more)
Cons
Although not many, this vehicle does have a few drawbacks associated with it. For starters, it is a little on the pricy side but like they say, you get what you pay for. In addition, the maintenance can be a little annoying as some of the repairs require special tools to handle. The oil filter is in a canister which can be a pain to change, and the air filter is in a very awkward housing. The sunroof (at least on mine) has come off of its tracks and started to leak. Also, some of the interior paneling is starting to come lose. I think this is just part of what you go through when you buy a... (more)

I am the owner of a 2003 Cadillac CTS RWD Sedan in Pear White. I am the second owner of the vehicle and have had it for approximately 7 years. I bought the car for the unique white pearl finish, the upgraded BOSE stereo system and comfortable interior. The first years of ownership were trouble free and only required basic maintenance such as oil changes and tires. The 2.7 V6 has adequate power and decent gas mileage. The rear end is light though and under road conditions with limited traction, stability control and traction control will constantly intervene to prevent wheel spin. As the car aged though, some minor problems cropped up. The biggest problem was with the ECU and wiring harness. Eventually the wiring harness had to be completely replaced as well as the ECU. That has been th... (more)
Story
During winter one year I turned off all traction control and found a large empty parking lot. I spent half an hour doing donuts and sliding around on the ice and snow.
Pros
V6 provides adequate power in both city and highway driving. Leather interior is quality and holds up to years of driving and over 130,000 miles with no tears or excessive wear. Most repair issues were not costly. RWD provides fun handling and decent grip under good road conditions.
Cons
Under less than perfect traction the light rear end has minimal grip. Traction control and stability control are very intrusive unless manually turned off. Fuse boxes are inconveniently located. Replacing front turn signals requires removal of wheels and inner fender liner.
