This car is as powerful as it is elegant. When it was built in 1995, the Park Avenue was the ideal luxury sedan. I bought my Park Avenue used and I have driven for almost eight years now. My car and I have been on a lot of adventures, covering half of the United States, and countless day long road trips. I have taken it through the cities, on nature trips, and even through the corn fields- though I only did that once because it is not made to go through such muddy conditions. As long as I have had this car, and with all I have put it through, it still holds up to whatever comes our way.
Story
We went out to the farm and drove through the cornfield to get back to the woods. That's when I was reminded that it's not a 4x4 and not really meant for that sort of thing. With a little team work we got it free from the mud and then went to the local ice cream store before going to the car wash. I got quite a chuckle from some well dressed business man seeing my sedan covered with mud.
Pros
This car is very comfortable to drive. The leather seats were designed for optimal comfort. There is plenty of leg room in the back seat area for the kids, and the front seat has separate controls for the passenger and driver sides. That's great for when I have a passenger, so that they're not cramped just so my short legs can reach the pedals.
Cons
The only negative things about this car is actually a couple of design flaws. The air conditioner, went out and with it being an older car, we haven't had a lot of luck trying to find replacement parts. The air conditioner in this car is important because of the pulley system that the auxiliary belt needs to run through. We were able to make a part that is doing the job though. The other flaw is that the fuel line runs directly over the engine, which only causes an issue when that line starts leaking. How the whole thing didn't burst into flames is a mystery.

This car has plenty of room for a person to ride in comfort and plenty of leg room. The car has too have key turn on and not put your foot on the gas peddle right away for it to start right which I don't like. It has makeup mirrors with lights on the visors which is nice and in the back seat too. It also has heated seats which makes it nice on cold days. Safety on this car has double walls on doors which makes insurance cheaper. It runs real smooth it has a super charger in it if you really had to move really fast it would. Overall its a great car..
Story
We was parked at the drive-in bank window and we just got our car. My husband was driving. We got our money at bank window and he couldn't get it in gear. He said "you drive it, it don't like me". I got out went to driver side put my foot on the brake shift gears and took off. Lady at the bank gave us a funny look
Pros
Heated seats and make up mirrors plenty of room to ride in comfort. Leather seats are very nice
Cons
Turning the key on not to be able to put your foot on peddle for a few sec. Also putting foot on brake before you can change gears when your parked

I bought this car second hand so of course there were some issues that came with having a second hand vehicle. But, the overall attitude I have of this car, is I wish I had bought it new so I could have pampered it with love. My car is fully loaded. I have owned it for about three years or so and really love it. It has a lot of power, when I press on the accelerator, it performs totally every time. Maintenance on this vehicle is rather easy. We have changed our own brakes, and spark plugs, giving it a overall tune up. Finding those parts are easy, unlike some other cars I've had, where you practically had to take out the whole engine to get to a spark plug. I like the circulation of the air and having a separate vent in the back seat also adds to the comfort of each passenger. Living ... (more)
Story
The most fun I have is when I'm driving with my grandson. Although he's only five months old, it's nice to be able to talk to him as I drive him to and from his home. I feel good having a reliable car, and not having to worry if I'll be left stranded on the side of the road.
Pros
I love the power this car delivers. I also especially love the horn. It sounds like a train horn, loud and powerful. Once the car is locked if anyone messes with the doors, the noise is enough to make you run away. I love the heated side mirrors so I never have foggy side windows. Also the windshield wiper has a sensor that once you turn it on, will automatically adjust for more or less moisture on the windshield.
Cons
One thing I notice about it, there seems to be a lot of electronic noise, like a kind of self check going on when I drive. After a while you get used to it, and actually it feels like you're in a power machine because of that noise. The back seat has a very large hump in the middle that makes it rather uncomfortable for having a fifth person in the car. I am also a new grandmother and I've noticed that attaching a car seat in the middle is not the easiest thing because of the rise in seat. Although the trunk space is rather generous, the manufacturer chose to add a donut spare, which is fi... (more)
