2000 Buick LeSabre - I've really enjoyed this Buick Lesabre.
I am crazy about the ride it gives - very smooth. It hold the road very well. I have no problem driving in weather and feel very safe. it has side airbags (which was a prerequisite for me). The gas mileage isn't fantastic - but I average over 24 miles to the gallon. On long road trips (like a trip to Miami Fl), I average 32 miles to the gallon (that was when the car was brand new). The repairs have been expensive: brakes, tires, battery, and tune-ups, but then you have that with all vehicles. I bought it new in 2000 for cash at a price of $25,000. I just bought a new 2019 Buick Envision a few months ago, but prefer to still drive my 2000 LeSabre because the ride is superior to the new one. I almost regret buying the new Buick and have less that 3000 miles on it in over eight months.
Story
I drove to Miami, Florida, a few times with it and felt relaxed and comfortable the whole trip.
Pros
I like the power and comfort.
Cons
The repairs are expensive. I'm fortunate I have a fair and honest local mechanic to work on it.
1998 Buick LeSabre - Reliable car
I've had my vehicle for over 4 years now and I hope to have it for many more. It may not be the most attractive car, especially for a young person, but it gets the job done. My family has had 5 Buick LeSabres and we continue to buy them because we think they are great cars. They ride well and are nice starter cars for new drivers.
Pros
I feel very safe in this car because it is so large. It is very reliable. I have not had any major problems while driving it. It drives smoothly and the interior is very intuitive. I like how the gear shift is on the wheel and not the center console. The inside is very roomy and I can comfortably fit everything I need to. My favorite feature is the large trunk, which is great for traveling. It also picks up speed pretty quickly.
Cons
The vehicle looks sort of old-fashioned. It is also very big, which makes parallel parking in the city more difficult. I've had several repair problems, but nothing that couldn't be fixed. It has been stalling on me lately while I'm driving but there is no apparent cause, so I just deal with it. All repairs have been minor, like the breaks.
